@shittybangbang321 According to her, they make you do more and dont hold your hand like American schools do. And by making you get through these hard things on your own, only makes you better when it comes to your clinicals afterwards and of course residency after that. I have no idea as I am not a doctor so I am commenting on what she tells me. I hope that answers your question.

@Niche79 So you're saying the foreign med school graduates were actually more prepared for their residencies than american grads?

@shittybangbang321 Yah she did, at least from what she told me, she still talks about the island. She said it was much harder than american schools and in saying that, she said you can tell who is an american grad and who isnt in her residency. Shes finishing her second year of residency now in South Georgia. I think she came back from the island in '06? I know shes studying for Step 3 as we speak, she takes it on April 1st? Hope that helps! She does wana go visit again she said.

My gf went there for med school. Heard plenty of stories from there, heard its a big party/hookup school.
