Hey everyone, just wanted to share that today Yahoo.com had an ad on their home page that featured a photo of yours truly... uh, yeah, that would be me, Beatrice Johnston. Pretty cool. I rarely get to see where my photo is being used when I model, so this was a nice surprise!

Hi Beatrice, I know of you from model mayhem. When you do a shoot do you know what it is for or was that a stock photography shoot? I ask because I was under the impression that when you do a job, you are told what the photos will be used for and where they will appear.

Hi Steph,

It depends since sometimes there's a buy out by the client, like when I did a Revlon ad. For Revlon they used it for packaging, but had the option to use the photos for other promotional stuff. In this case though, you are right, it was for stock photography so any client can buy it and use it from the stock house. I don't do stock much, but sometimes it's fun and great surprise when you see yourself.
