http://GardenFork.TV Don't call a plumber, you can fix a clogged drain yourself. Eric shows you how to unclog a drain using a drain snake or auger and power tools. Unclogging a drain is usually straightforward, if these steps don't work, its time to call a plumber. More DIY how-to videos and photos on our site, www.GardenFork.TV

  • Good video, but I agree that you should use safety glasses and if you don't know what you are doing - call a professional.

  • Great Video, a few tips,

Never use power tools (120 volts) around standing water or wet concrete. Cordless will be much safer, if you don't have the rooter or drill, sometimes a wet dry vac will suck the clog material out, Don't use the acid based drain cleaners as they will eat holes in your cast iron pipes, there are several non acid anti clog cleaners get on a "preventive" program. I like the Pipe Shield pipe cleaner, its the best and the gallon lasts for a year when mixed corectly.
