This is very cool but it has one flaw, the power up 30-40 seconds for the PIR to calibrate to the normal background image otherwise very cool

Agreed, but it can't be helped. Most PIR sensors are designed that way, and when powered on the output becomes unstable. It is not getting used to the background, but becoming stable electronically.
