My Berner/best friend died this March at the ripe old age of fourteen. Even though it was his time to go, I still miss him terribly. I will never forget the deep loving bond that we shared. A very special breed indeed. If there is a heaven, and I hope there is, he will be on the other side waiting for me...I'm very sorry for your loss

She looks so much like our Heidi. We lost her a few months ago. Miss her SO much! Such a sweet soul. We still have her sister, Greta. The best dogs ever!
