Recently I ordered a MTD directly by mr. M. Tobias himself and he is a great advisor about which woodcombination fits your style. Before I ordered the bass I did some inquiries at European builders like Status, Bass Line, Marleux but they come up with prices higher that those MTD USA and you don't get that tone quality. My 6 string bass bass will have a makore body with a mango top and a maple neck and fretboard.

@franklinperedo Like i said : No offense. I only ment it in a way, that i believe, a (bass)guitar tells a bit, what kind of a musician a person is. So when i saw the link too your video, i was expecting some gorgeous bass playing and all sorts of that. Didn't want too give you a bad name or anything.

a mango top wooow, Mike is one of the most respecful luthiers of all times, i just received my new bass, its a Wyn bass made by Randall Wyn Fullmer i will make a video very soon, im pretty sure you will like it, thanks for sharing the info of your new MTD enjoy it, and if u have a video with it let me know.

What's up basstard!!..you expected better from me?? how long do we know each other?..and a $5,200 instrument its suppost to make me play better?? Sure it helps! But come on man...i take criticism in every aspect, but next time think before y write ,don't make ur self look bad.

@jayblazestyle whats up!! i think the top is myrtle burl with a sunburst, i know the fretboard and neck anre wenge, the body is ash, but the sound is amazing, that bass is $5,200.
