@wogdoggy His knob is pointing back when he's at launch, it's just not there in his stance. I agree that he should start that way, though, as he's wasting time and slowing his bat with his current stance. His bigger issues are his stance is a little narrow for a no-stride, he's bug-squishing, he has no hip-shoulder separation, and his head is moving too much. His arm action is pretty good, but the rest of his body needs a lot of work.

load your hands against your rear hip..take the knob of the bat and point it to the catcher..you loose bat speed and drag the bat ..get the knob at the catcher and launch from there..look at video of big hitters and look at the knob of their bat versus yours
