Yes, it made two calls. Once at the very beginning and once at 0:07. Sorry the crappy microphone is not good at picking up the woodie's call, but if you listen closely it's there, much weaker than the background goose honks.

w0w, I havent seen a duck of that breed over here in the UK. Strange call, doesnt seem to chirp or quack?

The call is an upward whistle. Since it's a North American species, it might take some effort to find one in UK. According to Wikipeida: "... populations have been temporarily established in Surrey in the past..."
