Labyrinth - You Don't Remember, I'll Never Forget (Yngwie J. Malmsteen cover, bonus track)

This is a bonus track from the Japanese pressing of Labyrinth's 2010 album "Return to Heaven Denied Part II: A Midnight Autumn's Dream" (bit of a mouthful). It is a cover of a song by Yngwie J. Malmsteen, a famous neoclassical Swedish guitarist, from his album Trilogy. Being one of my favorite Malmsteen albums I had to get a hold of this song, and it wasn't up on Youtube or any site I could find, so I bought it myself and now I share with you!

The album was released in 2010 and is widely available, however the Japanese version with bonus tracks is somewhat less available, I think Amazon has it for $50 or something crazy. I think statistically, very few covers are "better" than the original. The point of a cover is a reimagining of a song in the style of the artist covering it. Labyrinth fans will want to hear it because it's a bonus track and a great song, Malmsteen fans will want to hear another band's take on it, and everyone wins. Cheer up there, eh?

@leonochevron Bueno, el punto aqui era principalmente coverear la canción pero al mero estilo de Labyrinth, sin querer hacer alguna copia de la original (porque asi deberian ser los covers) tal como ya se mencionó... Tiranti tiene una de las mejores voces que eh escuchado, y si te gusta el Power te recomiendo que escuches mas sobre esta banda. Saludos

KICKS ASS... plain and simple. These guys are on of the most under rated bands in the world. And their new album, Return To Heaven Denie Part 2, is an awesome return to form! Great job guys!

An amazing cover. The guitarist did his job exceptionally well. Small accent, but hardly noticeable, yet, did a wonderful Boals impression with his high notes.
