Ok I've motion tracked the glasses so we can see the reflection clearly throughout the video and for my money I think it's a cameraman.

What looks like a red cue-card is, I think, his forearm. It looks square at times but that just seems to be compression artefacts. When you see him move in the video over time it looks, to me, like he is wearing a t-shirt and that is his forearm.

More importantly, I think, is the way he moves, particularly at the crucial moment when she seems to be reading. He is swaying about in the way that a cameraman would to create motion in a static shot. I would imagine that someone holding a cue card would want to be perfectly still.

I could very well be wrong, the compression artefacts are pretty bad especially when we colour correct, so they could well be hiding a cue card. If we managed to get hold of the DVD we could have another look.

Anyway that's my tuppence worth.

Fair use for non profit criticism and all that.

  • There are several clues that seem to indicate that she is reading what she's saying, the reflections, the slow paused reading, the straight look at somewhere that was not the interviewer nor the camera, the dodging to keep the focal point at sight..

either way, this movie is not even necessary to prove the Banana man's dishonesty. Apologetic videos/books are the 2nd most profitable dishonest job there is, (the 1st is the drug traffic).

    Nice 3D works btw. cheers

  • @ZZzzzzzWhat Yeah Maybe banana man as dishonest to the core, but it's vital that we maintain rigorous intellectual honesty. If we make an assertion then it's up to us to support it with evidence and if the evidence shows us we're wrong then it's up to us to make sure everyone who thought we were right, now knows we're not.

That's why our system is better, we learn from our mistakes.

  • Incidentally I don't want this disgusting bullshit on my channel for long so feel free to download it and analyse it if you want. I'll be taking it down before long

  • This is entirely the point.

My assertion is being scrutinised by those on my side of the argument going so far as to motion track the footage and come to their own conclusion.

As a sceptic who is willing to pour scrutiny on the ideas of others I have to also accept that others will do the same with my ideas.

What IS important is that claims and assertions continue to be scrutinised and examined.

Your conclusions are something I have considered and I have not dismissed

    Well done :0)
