  • and the difference between Hayir and Yok is this: Hayir means no, whereas Yok means 'There isnt any, or "I dont have it". It is associated with posession.

  • Hey this is very cool...I think Merhabalar isnt a more formal way of saying Hello, but it is directed at more than one person (to a group), so it would mean Hi everybody. I dontt know for sure but that is how I use it...it's not in my dictionary.
