Rigol DS1000E Performance check in Peak Detect mode (Windows mode)

Few day ago my friend YY mail to me an movie about the Rigol DS1000E series performance check, from this movie u can find oscilloscope setting in dual channel also turn on the peak detect and windows function, I can not believe what I am see....It is a really instrument?

Hi. I don't have that scope, but I think I know what it's doing.

It's probably not an acquisition error.

The graphics routines simply connect min and max point of each sampling interval in succession: min1,max1,min2,max2,... in order to fill the area in between.

This works when points are horizontally less than one pixel apart (upper trace), otherwise you see diagonal lines connecting them (bottom trace).

I use this drawing method in one of my own programs.
