  • @Spoonwood 1. I think the snare tape off was key to introduce the snares and tenors. the basses were just setting a groove. I've seen plenty of drumlines do that. 2. There is no problem with this formation. They use a different form from everyone apparently

  • the only good thing about this is the tone of the basses

  • Ignoring everything about execution, I simply don't understand why 1. you have the center snare play a tap off when the basses are *already* playing and 2. why they're standing in this formation. You either have them in the same rows as they would when say marching to the stadium, or you have the line in a concert arc.  This is like a drum battle formation, without a drum battle!

  • How do you get in auditions because if so not many people must show up because mt high school drumline is better than this
