I composed this song while driving from Jerusalem to Ramat Bet Shemesh this past week, while thinking about my love for Hashem.

The words are "Shomrim hafked l'ircha, kol hayom v'chol halayla" - "Place guards over your city, all day and all night." Hashem is the one who protects our Jerusalem, and our entire country. We thank those who represent him, the IDF, and we acknowledge that God is ultimately the one who is behind it all.

  • Ari is one of the few people I know that can actually compose a song while thinking about his love for Hashem. He is the real deal!

  • may just be the lyrics but the melody sounds a lot like the carlebach version, still its nice.

  • Inspirational words! Kol HaKavod!

  • Amazing!
