Marijuana that is unregulated/black market could be laced with more addictive drugs like heroin, cocaine, angel dust or anything cheap/dangerous to dilute it.Taxing and regulating it would take it off the black market and be subject to FDA inspections for quality, especially if the tax rate is based on the THC content.

I'm not down to try anything past marijuana I don't even like to drink it gives me hang overs and it can kill you maybe and it gives me cold sores since it puts stress on my body... That stepping stone is just another thing they said to me when they were brain washing me

The reason why it would go down 25 percent would be because they brain wash people like they did with me... Nice job! But didn't work.. I can see now that tabaco is bad really bad. Marijuana is just as addictive as sex it doesn't have any addictive ingredients like tabaco. Why don't they criminalize tabaco the smell is way worse than marijuana it makes my head hurt when standing in lines and people are smoking it... Just face it marijuana isn't bad like most people think it is

I'm tired of having to go through shitty dealers and getting ripped off. Just legalize it so we can enjoy it. I would much rather just buy it in a store. I don't know what the big deal is. It's just weed.

That Alaska/Netherlands argument is so lame. The reason it screws up those places is because those are the ONLY places to go for it. Change the rules for ALL of America and yea, I'm sure the first couple months EVERYONE will be getting stoned. But after that we we have moderation an self-imposed-limitations to our consumption.

A clear case of biased media once again. They let Asa finish every point and repeatedly cut off Aaron, especially at the end. The only arguable point the former DEA made was about the gateway drug issue. Do they really think we're that stupid or are people that easily controlled by biased main stream media? It's not hard to see that the same case could be made about tobacco and alcohol as a gateway substance. If you're prone to addiction, anything can be a gateway. I should run for prez
