LONG LIVE THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC!!
No offense to our galant southern foe of course but I'm a New Englander and my loyalty is to my state and my region.

As a Christian man, my first allegiance is to God. Then to my state, the state of Virginia. Every state has a primal claim to the fealty of her citizens... ...and they justly control their allegiance. If Virginia adheres to the United States, I adhere. Her determination must control mine. This is my understanding of patriotism. And though I love the Union, I love Virginia more.

@Willredd94 Yeah your type burned down a Church rented out the Irish in the city of Bath Maine then set up armed guards to try and keep out irish catholics. Well the local militia made up of masons so definatly not catholics btw put down the riot at bayonet point. My family has lived here for a damn long time 1640ish and i'm part Irish. So was/is your family No Nothings and later on in the anti all those people you mentioned KKK that was quite active in New England?

@jolyjacktar I'm also from New England and I also say Long Live the Army of the Potomac! However, I'm a proud Yankee protestant. We old stock new englanders hate the new stock immigrant families like the Irish, Italians and Portuguese and the Canadians. The New England of the Civil War era is long gone and forgotten.
