BAD FORMAT AND UPLOAD - SKIPS in places!

Facebook upload (much better!)

My performance of Dream Theater's 'Hell's Kitchen' in the Final of the Radio Aire talent contest in front of over 100 members of the unsuspecting public lol. I just turned 20 years old a couple of days before this.
Check out how tiny the Roland Microcube amp that I'm using is and hear how loud it is on only half volume.
"How many nights do you practice in your bedroom with your 'instrument'?" Haha, very funny.
To hear studio version and other music head to http://www.myspace.com/richardwright07

  • you play well... but I think you've changed ALOT the original song.... that final part is just awesome and you started to play Under a Glass Moon solo and breaked the song's idea... anyway... congratulations and keep playing!

  • Thanks man, I really appreciate the feedback. If I were to do this again now I'd definately do it differently :)

    Richard.

  • Hello, thanks for your interest in this video. May I suggest you watch the imeem upload of this performance. It doesn't jump and skip like this video does. It's also better quality.

  • this song is supposed to be all about feeling not shredding.. nonetheless still sounds cool

  • Nice technique but it lacks feeling man, why not just play it the way it was written at the start? awesome though

  • He stayed true to himself.

  • Richard Wright?

  • Good playing but I'm sad you didn't stay true to the song =(

  • good playing, but too many notes for that song, too many fast shredding parts, and a little mistakes here and there

  • good crazy version I love dream theater.. nice job

  • Nice guitar playing............... but only the late Richard Wright (Pink Floyd) gets to use that name.

    R.I.P Rick

  • Keyboard Karate = absolute WIN :D

    Top soloing mate (Y)
