MY NEW STORY!!! :D
I am so excited that I can hardly stand it! I really hope that you guys like this one as much as the other and that you keep reading! I love all of you guys that have been with me through everything, and even my new readers! I really don't want to disappoint you guys, so I hope that I don't...
But anyways, I am just warning you that the first few chapters could be a little boring because I have to introduce the characters and stuff...

Joe and Rory walked back home from school, after missing the bus, and headed towards their houses- which were coincidentally right beside each other. They had both just started the fourth grade, and life as they knew it had really changed. Joe stumbled and almost fell, but managed to regain his balance and stand back up. Rory giggled and Joe stared at her through his glasses.
Joe: what! Like you've never fallen before!
Rory: well I don't fall everyday! (She joked)
Joe: well...
Rory: well what? You can't think of a comeback?
Joe: shut up, lets just go inside. I think that my mom made some chocolate chip cookies.
They both walked into the Jonas house and were greeted by Mrs. Jonas. She handed them each a chocolate cookie
and smiled at them.
Mrs. J: did you two have a good time at school?
Joe: wah. (He said with his mouth full)
Mrs. J: Joe, what have I told you about talking with your mouth full? (She said sternly)
Joe swallowed and looked sheepishly at his mother.
Joe: sorry mommy.
Mrs. J: its rude to do that in front of ladies Joe. (She said looking at Rory)
Joe: are you talking about Rory? (He chuckled) Rory isn't a lady!
Rory punched Joe lightly on the arm and he clutched it in pain.
Mrs. J: Joe honey, one day Rory is going to be a beautiful woman and you are going to be sorry that you treated her like this. (She laughed) You may even fall in love with Rory one day... when you are much older of course.
Joe and Rory: EWWW!
Joe: I will never be in love with Rory, not the way that you are in love with daddy.
Rory: and I could never love Joe! He is my best friend!
Mrs. J: you may change your minds one day. (She smiled)
Joe and Rory walked up to his room and sat down on the floor and scattered their books so that they could do their homework. Rory got Joes football and threw it at him when he wasn't looking. Joe's head immediately shot up and he just looked at Rory, trying to hold in his laughter.
Joe: and what was that for?
Rory: I don't know, I was bored.
Joe: I can't believe what mom said about me and you falling in love... that would never happen. Besides, you are like a boy... and I don't think I could love another boy.
Rory: I'm not a boy Joe! (She laughed)
Joe: but you act like one! (He laughed) But not that I am complaining... I wouldn't want a girly girl for a best friend. That would just be weird.
They finished their homework and then Rory headed home, mostly because her mom made her leave. If she could, she would spend every minute with her best friend Joe. They had been friends for over three years and were inseparable ever since. Rory wasn't really comfortable around any of the other kids at school except for Joe. She had never been a girly girl; she preferred getting dirty playing in the mud with the boys. So Joe was her best friend, one of her only friends.
The next day, Rory met Joe outside his house and they went to the bus stop. When the bus got there they got on and sat down in their usual seat, near the front, away from all of the bullies. But unfortunately, mean girls always find a way. And so Sasha, the meanest and most popular girl at school started in on Rory.
Sasha: Oh, look at little Rory. (She taunted) I love your glasses Rory... they really finish your whole boy look! (Her and her mean girl posse laughed and Rory tried to ignore them) Maybe you should try dressing like a girl once in a while! But it probably wouldn't help any since you are so ugly!
Rory: just go sit down.
Sasha: who's going to make me Rory? Your little boyfriend?
Rory: Joe isn't my boyfriend.
Sasha: that's right... he can't be your boyfriend because you are a boy... unless you are both gay...
All of the mean girls laughed loudly again and Joe couldn't stand to see them taunting Rory anymore. He turned around and pushed his glasses farther up his nose.

So, this was kind of boring... but I swear that it is going to get much better! What is Joe going to do? I sense a fight coming on... what about you guys?
