  • No wonder the Pakistanis say partition was unfair to them as Lata and the Taj remained here.

  • my alltime fav since childhood . lataji's girlish innocent voice, sahir's poetry [who was known more for his serious, sensitive lyrics ] reflecting so much joy and sd burman's lilting music combine to produce an evergreen ,enchanting melody which is also a great mood uplifter.adorable song that can be heard endlessly

Absolutely right. But we are all children of Hind and in view of our common civilization of over 7000 years we must and will come together in peace.

  • @snfab1 And Majrooh and others were not 3rd rate.

  • @snfab1 Sachinda had no ego problems. It was Sahir who had a big ego. Read Guru Dutt's biography by Sathya Saran.

  • Lata Mangeshkar and S.D.Burman are both excellent in this song..,What a marvellous composition and magnificently sung by Lataji. Too good for words. This is music in nthe real sense of the word.

  • beautifull voice of lata ji. i like this phase of lataji's voice then any other phase of her entire singing career. thnx

  • nisheethriddhi<s comment only meant to praise Lata jis wonderful voice. No politics was in volved in that.Everbody knows that partition was not just a matter of division of our singers or Taj mahal.

Some people could not understand the real intent of nisheethriddhi.I pray to God to give these people power to understand..

To make things fare have you considered moving to India?

Partition took place for an ideology which is supreme than singers and buildings.

Lastly, people who just consider Noor Jehan's post partition songs clearly haven't heard or bothered to do so in the wake of making a baseless comment

  • @mskhalidch

which kind of pakistani you are shame on you

  • remarkable song
