On Saturday, Feb. 27, New Leash on Life held an unveiling ceremony for their new mobile spay station - made possible by a grant from the Patricia and Edward J. McGavock Humane Treatment of Animals Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee - at Wilson County Hyundai in Lebanon, Tenn.
The original mobile spay station was recently retired. Since 2000, the mobile clinic has provided free spay/neuter surgeries for low-income pet caretakers in order to curb pet overpopulation and has performed over 40,000 surgeries across 18 different counties in Tennessee.
