@Pat9201 Well, Pat, it's not odd at all. Van Halen fans like the bros. regardless. Just because "poodle " is out there crooning, doesn't mean you can't watch the rest of the band. But you can complain about said pooch. See, that wasn't so confusing, now, was it?

@Luke5119 as a fan of both eras i really dont blame someone if they dont care for the hagar years and choose to ignore them (just like i ignore roths solo crap) but i do find it odd that so many of the van hagar haters who claim they ignore it make their way on so many videos to trash it..lol

@guitarjunkie5150 - Gary Cherone, was was the singer for Extreme in the 80's, and is now back with them. But being that he was only on one Van Halen record, I didn't see that he needed to be mentioned. He did okay with Van Halen, but he was better fit with Extreme.

Colin, you're a moron, you have no idea what you're talking about. Ed spent 30+ years of his life living in hotels, on airplanes, in airports, limos. Ask any traveling salesman what its like to have to live like that. No matter how rich you are, it gets old fast. He survived cancer that took 1/2 his tongue. Rocked so hard on stage he wore his hip out and had it replaced. Got divorced. Lived his whole life with the pressure of being "the greatest". He earned the right to be drunk and burned out.
