  • Um well this video is about HOW to create a graphic novel, so obviously everyone who watches this clearly wants to make one, so I guess you kinda picked the wrong page to post this comment idiot. I agree that a lot of people wish to make one and I agree that people are not artists or writers, but everyone has to start somewhere other wise no one would get anywhere in life..

  • @KarakalLynx, I haven't read Miki Falls yet, but Mark Crilley is one of the best manga tutorial makers on youtube.

  • Hi if I wanna publish it. Do I hand a manuscript to the company? Or the entire story to them? I really need to know

  • i want to do this just for the heck of it... but im having trouble with creating an original story

  • Cool thanks for the intel :D

  • @SwiftSilver23 Yep, many of the graphic novels I've collected from Japan; are written and drawn by the same person. The one I'm working on, is all written and drawn by me. Its common, it does take longer, but its doable.

  • @TheElite908 Yep, "The Walking Dead" show, is from a graphic novel. Even movies, like the movie "Cowboys and Aliens" that was a graphic novel. Same with "Sin City", and "300". There are many more I could name. A lot of producers/directors actually frequent comic conventions more now, because a lot of their best ideas come from graphic novels now. And when its done right, especially when they get connected with work with the creator; the movie or TV show is then pretty damn good.

  • can graphic novels become tv shows? because if so im gunna make mine good enough to make it!

  • Is it common fo a graphic novel to be written and drawn by the same person, because that's what I want to do with my work lol

  • What's that thing thats holding the pages together at the beginning 0:11

  • NO WAY, I´M USING THE SAME PENCIL!!

  • Thanks for posting this on youtube, it's really helpful. The steps are very specific and simple, but I can't tell there's a lot of work put into it. :)
