@mattthedemocrat1 well again i say you have your own opinions which is fine but simply because a movie didn't win you over doesn't mean that its a worthless film and does nothing creative even the statements saying how even for its day it was nothing special is just flat out ignorant, its clear that the film is a classic and always will be, it has inspired many directors and screenwriters, even many critics who had nothing but bad things to say about slashers always gave Halloween its credit.

Come on everyone, stop trolling the shit out of this guy just because he has a different opinion than you guys do, sure I really like this movie, and it's one of my favourite movies. but you don't see trolling this guy just because he hates the film, IT'S HIS OPINION. and I respect it, and I didn't think his review was "ignorant", I mean some points he made might've been, but there were some that were pretty good, he used good critical analyses word phrasing.
