Portland Peace Protest Advocates Militant Action

March 19th, 2011, Portland Oregon: Calls for "militant direct action" are heard from the speakers at a Portland "Peace Protest." Unions are well represented. "Astroturfing" is clearly shown. The "9/11 Truthers" are present. Anti-Israel signs abound and support for Palestine including a bloody fist through a flag are shown. Numerous Socialists and Communists are present with their literature and interviewed. A Supreme Court mockery is incomplete, because their "black guy had to drop out." Calls for the single payer system are heard. Calls for having the Multnomah County not work together with ICE are heard. Calls for Obama to legalize illegal immigrants are heard. A sign identifies Sarah Palin as a "whore."

Furthermore, I don't know where you come up with the prejudice that I wish jail anyone who does not agree with me. That couldn't be further from the truth. For the record, I am against the wars and MIC as well. Obama promised that ending the wars would be the first thing he'd do. These folks at the rally need to vote Green Party or Ron Paul.

If/when these people actually go all-out "militant", they will see just how much of a weak minority they really are. Their whole lives they've been told they're smart, and that they mattter. But all they are is a bunch of spoiled malcontents. Nobody ever really disciplined them. Nobody ever told them the world doesn't owe anything to anybody, especially them. They've always been around though. No big deal in the end.
