  • was that a Shaman on the 480?

  • that is HUGE!!

  • @jvirgreen . You cant dig simple things or you think you will lose the conversation? Because i am not trying to win you.

I said what i said, any example will be a waste of time. Good luck.

  • @NewRisingSong Your case is nonexistent. Anything that permits a product to perform or perform better is applied for performance reasons. I'm sure you could provide examples of computers running without these coolers, but that would help your argument not at all. Coolers, when needed for a computer to perform, are installed for performance reasons.

  • @jvirgreen Coolers protect and not perform, unless you want to think they perform protection ;P which is right but not my case. Coolers wont make a system faster (that's my case). Place an overclocked computer in North pole without coolers... no problem. No doubt coolers are ''needed'' (as you said) but they are not necessary for a system to work. I could easily bring to you many examples to prove my point.

Again: computers are huge because they need to. but not for no performance reasons.

  • @NewRisingSong Coolers are needed for a computer of today's standards to perform especially if it is to perform under intense heat. These coolers would increase the load capacity and longevity of the processors they were connected to. Therefore, they are used for performance reasons. I understand where you are coming from, and you are right in many ways, but when it comes to performance, as in one's ability to perform, your logic fails.
