  • Fuck all the hippies who tossed shit and garbage at the brave soldiers on their return. I'm English but i respect the USA and it's brave soldiers. If i was alive during the Vietnam War i would be behind you guys just like i support all our troops overseas now.

  • My dad was a Vietnam Vet. He was in the Army, a door gunner. 11th Armored Cavalry.. He died of Agent Orange related Lung/brain cancer on March 20, 2008. He was only 57. THANK YOU and WELCOME HOME to all you Vietnam Veterans. You will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. Also the ones who didn't make it home, the MIA's and POW's. We can never forget them.

    Sincerely,

    Dawn

  • Sometimes i think it was just yesterday, sometimes a hundred years, and most the time a dream. Eugene wasn't 19 yet, Jimmie was 20. I turned 21 over there. My first interview for a job was with a WWII nurse. Did I get the job? "hell yea". Thanks to the ones' who did support us. The ones that we lost. I swear I will never forget my brothers and sisters,,,Spectre1

  • Chu Lai, Southern I Corp. This and "the Letter", remember it well. To those who share the memories, good and bad, glad we are still around to remember.

  • My dad was in Vietnam. Stationed at Binh Thuy for 6th months then various places on the Mekong Delta for another 6, 70-71. He joined the army the day after he turned 17, he was stationed in Germany for 6 months then got orders for Vietnam.

  • Memories with the 101st in I Corp - our theme song!!!

  • I remember singing this song sitting in the sand at Marble Mountain with an OB beer in my hand. Oooh Rah!

    Semper Fi

    USMC Vietnam 1969, 1970

  • @cptrambo those hippies are worse than the Viet Cong - at least the VC fought for their country

  • My neighbor was in Vietnam. He said it was kill or be killed, regualrless of the age, man or woman. Most of what was told to us in the United States was not true.

  • I came of age during the Vietnam war -

I was a donor to the Vietnam Memorial when it was but a dream -

I was assoc director for the San Juan USO for two years -

I NEVER disrespected our troops -

It's about DAMNED TIME we respected our 'Nam Vets!

    Thank you!
