This is a visualization of a potential human exploration architecture on the surface of Mars. This video shows the interior of a habitat where future explorers would reside during surface operations. I think people underestimate what sacrifices astronauts would be willing to make to go to and be the first Mars explorers. Think about it, most humans would give anything to be a part of that mission regardless of risks and crew comforts.

Only thing i don't get is how that is suppossed to be stabilised during the intense surface storms...will it not just be blown over?

u think that little module can carry a crew of minimum 3 for MONTHS going to mars?

i think it owuld be great for a lunar lander

but for mars its a long journey

not only supllies, food and watter, but space, equipment, let alone ull go crazy! =S

it should be atleast twice as big
