Every Thurs evening 6:30 - 9:30PM enjoy the Hawaiian music of the Keawe Ohana. Featuring Pomaika'i Keawe Lyman, Gary Keawe-Aiko, Momi Kahawaiola'a and Alan Akaka. Regulars patrons and hotel guests enjoy the evening with good fun Luau style entertainment just as Aunty Genoa Keawe would do during her past 14 years here. Pomaika'i is singing Hoonanea with hula dancer Kalanikai gracing the dance floor. On this night we were happy to have Kaniela Rodrigues join us celebrating his birthday as he as in the past two years. He has made it a tradition to enjoy Aunty Genoa's music. Well since Aunty Genoa has passed Pomaika'i does a great job in keeping her grandmothers legacy alive. Kaniela also did a hula (Waikoloa) for the audience. Also tonight we had visitors from Tahiti who are dignitaries and guests of Kauhane Lee. They too stayed the whole evening and even got up to dance the Hukilau as song by Momi (Bee) Kahawaiola'a who did the first original recording with her sister as the Bee Sisters. It's a good fun evening, we hope to see you there one evening.
