This is Slab City

For years I've been going out there to ride dirt bikes but it wasn't until this that I actually took the time to talk to the people who are a part this unique community. My first film school project from a few years ago that I did in Slab City. I literally had just gotten out of the Marine Corp and this was my first time using a camera and editing on Final Cut pro so go easy on me with the video.

Yes! This is the place that's featured in the film, "Into The Wild" and there's a great scene which takes place at The Range. Great movie. You've captured the same free spirited vibe of this unique place, just like in the film. Great job!
