Artists from several Indonesian cities (such as Yogjakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Malang, and Padang) have gathered at this exhibition at the House of Sampoerna Art Gallery to show their latest artistic and aesthetic achievements to the public.

Most of them have been involved in contributing to the world of Indonesian art for a long time.

The exhibitions theme is Craft Speaks.

Unique shapes and technical innovations are on display in various media including metal, ceramics, wood, skin, textile, and cane work.

Timbul Raharjo uses nails as his working base.

[Timbul Raharjo, Contemporary Indonesian Artist]:
I try combine and compose an artwork to surprise people when they realize that it was made from nails. So an ordinary material can be transformed into something extraordinary.

This annual contemporary art exhibition is in its third year, and the number of participants increases every year.

Only one artist was featured in the first year, 15 artists for the second exhibition, and 22 artists this year.

NTD, Surabaya, Indonesia.
