In general, and this goes for every musical genre, there should be a certain sound that is typical for an artist or band. But his sound is way too clean, sounds like those awefull 80's soundtracks of bad American soap operas and just lacks that authentic vibe that is necessary in real jazz. You, my catholic philistine, are blind for the dephts of true music.

Real music on the other hand is timeless, and it takes a certain insight -in which you have to grow- to spot that kind of timeless quality. There is some real good music out there -filled with emotions you may never understand- that will survive history. And there is bad music that will be forgotton. Only a small portion of humanity is able to separate good and bad taste while it's still contemporary. Philistines never know they are.
