Very good point made by the Master Musician, Sting.
What sets creatively inventive songwriter/musicians from regular listeners are that listeners only LISTEN to the song as a the MAIN SOURCE of getting enjoyment from it.
In contrast, when songwriter/musicians listen to songs from famous composers and songwriters... they try to see ARCHITECTURE as they try to DISCOVER how listeners can get enjoyment out of it in order to make their prospective song successful.
