  • Whats the top speed you have hit?

  • mattdyment99,

The top speed was 60 mph.

  • Jsacadura,

How do you like the boat so far, mine is ordered and on the way. Found any problems with it yet?

  • bbarina41,

The boat is great. No problems whatsoever until now. Changed the prop to a 21'' and it gets up on plane a lot better (jackplate up on the get go also helps a lot).

I will post a new video soon.

    Good luck with your boat.

  • mann i dont know why people under power their boat i made that mistake once and never again......it costs more money when you want to upgrade i have a Z7 with a 200 mercury pro xs its a bullet we hit 76 no problems when we push it during take off's best i got was 78-79 but its scary

  • In Portugal we can only use 4 stroke engines in our lakes. As for the time to get on plane i was making a mistake. The jackplate was all the way down. I know place it way above the normal cruising position and the propeller can "bite" the water much better. The time to get on plane is half what you see on the video.

  • why didnt they put a 2 stroke yamaha on it? It would plane off muck quicker.

  • the boats in portugal are not rigged with the same motors that they are over here. Here, if you wanted a yammie on your boat, you would have to buy the boat and motor seperately and pretty much put it on yourself. Over there, they get what the boat comes with.

  • I have the same exact boat, same color same everything, except I have an optimax 150, so I gotta ask, if you like yamaha why not go with a v max instead of that heavy 4 stroke?

  • Remember... It's a 4-Stroke and it's the boat first test on the water. We will have to choose the best propeller, motor height, etc..
