    I guess that I am just lucky to live in Pennsylvania because my School and their certified instructors have not required me to learn this at this early stage of my CDL course. I think that It is probably done in much the same way as the blindside parallel parking, where You turn the wheel hard to the stop one side and just apply a little bit of the opposite turn in order to keep it from completely jacknifing. Just keep a certain distance out and then over by the length of the cab.
