  • Looks like Bimmer stole "The Ultimate Driving Machine" motto, eh?!?

    GM should've copywrighted it!!!

  • @adape0884frank

I had a similar thought back in 2009. When Chevrolet wheeled out the new Camaro, I really really hoped there would be one final Firebird. I don't know much about auto manufacturing, but it couldn't have been THAT hard to badge engineer a Pontiac. Letting Pontiac go out with a final Firebird/Trans Am would have been far more memorable than the Gx series was.

  • @MrGoldenchaos That wasn't a huge car for 1967!

  • I want it I want it I want it I want it I want it I want it I want it

  • Oh yeah! Bitchin' wheels!

  • YES THE GREAT ONE

  • @sirbuick he walks around the car the entire time because its a huge car. Don't feel bad though most people don't realize this.

  • That guy did the cool voice-over narratives for old horror films.

  • @Jimboyc21 To be honest , i really had more expectation from a 56 years old american. Either misinformed or just ignorant. And my point of all this , just type BMW 507. And that happened in 56. Who stole from who ?

  • To be honest I always thought Bimmer stole the split grill front end styling too.

There are originals...and copies, the sincerest form of flattery they say....

Rest in peace, Pontiac, you had great moments in history.

  • @stevenblouis Cragars were aftermarket wheels. These are Rally II wheels that came on Pontiacs for many years. They are similar to the Cragar S/S wheel in design. Five spoke maq type. When these cars were popular, wheels were changed out or swapped for chrome reverse, slotted (kidney bean), or five spoke mag wheels. White letter tires or redline tires were also popular. But these cars usually came with whitewall or 'red stripe' tires. Hurst did put a special wheel on some special GTOs.
