mate, any dislikes for your vids must be a typing error. Your shit rules will whatch everything. Do Total Recall, Dead Zone, Scanners, American Splendour please.....

magnificent film, and Verhoeven actually had "Christ allegory" in one scene where Murphy is skewered with a steel pike...

the best frankenstein flick ever!
a cynical flick that still stands the test of time and a great counterpiece to Blade Runner!
i hope that if, the remake will be brilliant!
i should re-up my second class review!;)

Very good review of an exellent film.
The comparison with "Blade Runner" seems forced, as one if a noir-set-in-the-future, while the other is more action-scfi. More importantly, one is a pseudo-metaphysical.philosophi
cal work, while the other is a politicla/cultural satire on Reagan's America. -
thanks for the strong insight on a brilliant film.

I was in Robocop as an extra. I had a arm werstling scene with Robocop but they cut it out of the movie.

@booster330 That'd be cool to see. I'd imagine it would end up being like the arm wrestling scene in The Fly :)

Great review, man. I especially like your thoughts on the Bob Morton character, which was always interesting because he had good guy elements, while still being somewhat of a villian.

@van8ryan I agree. Even though his death wasn't as disturbing as Murphy's, it was still pretty rough. He was one of my favorite characters in the film.
