  • Tyrian is a legendary game. I can't believe that it's not as popular as other epic games such as Doom or whatever. The game is so cool. And the music is just unbelivable.

Does anyone else like to sit in front of the computer for an eternity watching the Jukebox and its color starfields while listening to the game's music? And then go back kick some major Microsol ass?

  • ah what a classic i got the demo along time ago from some french pc magazine. Me and my friend beat it in co-op. I never played for a while then i found it again on the internet for free and i was so happy

  • Carrot and bananas anyone ?

  • playing this in co-op with my brother when I was little was so awesome

  • @ZeroTrggr Exactly same here. I got demo of this game from Polish pc game magazine (CD-Action). I played it so many times over and over again. After all these years I found the full version as abandonware over the net, and finally played full Tyrian 2k in its all awesomeness.

  • OMG what a game!

I used to play all day long with my friends an my brother! This game just kicks ass! Awesome!

  • You could also try searching for MP3s of Tyrian 2000 on Galbadia Hotel, if it still exists. Be warned that Google labels the site as dangerous, probably due to some Flash object that may freeze your computer at times, until Adobe Flash Player has the sense to ask you to disable it.

  • You're very welcome.

  • I've had the MP3 versions of most musics for years. Now, however, I got the Loudness versions to work too. Wow, thanks a lot man!

And I also know that website. It proved very useful, both for extra files and the game itself.

Thanks again! I can't understand how I didn't see that LDS paragraph...

  • The post above is a reply to this

  • I agree with you that the music is awesome, and it is indeed a legendary game, also to me. You can download the music to play in your winamp with a special plugin. Check this site, and look at the LDS header:

Tried to post twice but can't post hyperlinks.

Search for "tyrian music" (with or without quotes) and click the first site.
