This video shows how to open up your Ensoniq EPS sampler, remove the disk drive, and replace it with an HxC SD Floppy Emulator.
http://hxc2001.free.fr/floppy_drive_emulator/index.html#SDCARDFloppyemulator
With the HxC floppy emulator, you no longer need floppy disks, you use floppy images on an sd card.
The drive removal instructions are for the most part direct from the EPS Service Manual.
No apologies for the quality of the video, I filmed this unrehearsed as I did the modification myself for the first time. iMovie worked it's wonderfully glitchy magic as well.
The soundtrack is a collection of demos off the standard EPS sound disks, 1-10.
@nogginj im waiting to get my SP1200 running again so i can stop having internal problems and finally no more cases upon cases of floppies and a crappy floppy reader!

A very clear and informative video. Text is better than voiceover because you can freeze frame as you go.Nice soundtrack too.
I couldn't get your link to work tho'
