  • Looks like all things were against the FF's here. Large wood structure, wind (you can hear it) and poor water pressure. They probably did the best they could.

  • My brother lives in building 12, and to this day swears it was arson. I believe him, too. Even if the fire was in a mulch bed near a gas meter (caused my a cigarette butt?!?!), that shouldn't ignite the gas. Gas is sealed inside pipes that are designed not to be easily combustible. If you ask me, I think the fire chief was paid off to say that it was a cigarette.

  • btw it wasnt a ciggg thats bull

  • Wood condos go up way to fast. See an alternate noncombustible construction method I found, Advanced steel structures.

  • iam sooooo srry about ur dog. i heard lots of other people lost there pets too. my cousin lives in buildin 2. im really really srry id be really upset too!!

  • someone through a lit cigarette into a mulch pile that happend to be write near the gas meter, then it traveled up the gas line through the attic where there are no sprinklers. there is also problems w/ the gas and thats y the fire was so bad. my cousin lives in that complex in building 2

  • my dad was there it was 10 alarms nd it was so hot the radiant heat was melting the side of the other building next 2 it nd it was dangerous of collapsin they set up a collapse zone nd they kept on callin in tankers from middleton they called in 10 of them nd then the water pressure was low so they couldnt spray that far nd the tankers wer filled wit 10,000 gallons of water but the ladder trucks sprayed 1,000 gallons per minute so it made it very difficult 2 fight the fire

  • that's sad..

where the people r living now?

  • wow thats pretty bad.. my dad was gonna move into that building! its like building 8 or sometihnggg. hes still moving to that place?! its like the 2nd fire already ://

  • It was a cigarette butt, it was new mulch that was sprayed 2 days before that was extremely flammable and caught onto the gas meter. You could see people running around with buckets of water and fire extinguishers putting out the mulch that was burning from all the ash that was falling. I'm sorry for everones loss.
