How are these 'drag diesel' engines compared to 'top fuel drag' engines? I mean, are they comparably 'extreme' in terms of being built for one run or two and then rebuilding? Or do they last longer?

@gotboostduramax funny you say that. in terms of rods components, the banks engines use the stock crank, heads and block. if you watch some of the other videos where gale talks about the engine, he says they use stock aluminum heads crank and i think rods (?). You can put 10000 into a twin turbo 12v cummins and get 1000 horsepower that you can drive down the street.
They have no smoke because they have FAP.
Le Mans cars run 700hp in qualify and 650hp in race because the FAP cant handle the entire race.
