These two Bull Moose had been hanging around the area we were Elk hunting in. They sparred for quite a bit for a couple of days; you could hear the sounds of clashing horns from far off. (**turn your speakers up)This morning I was easing along a ridge that's home to some major game trails/elk crossings; when I heard these too going at it and snuck up to take a look. At times I was within 20 yards or less; perfect bow range. You can see how well Optifade Open Country camo works in this clip; the wind must have swirled because for no apparent reason one of the bulls turned to look at me; but never seemed to "see" me and was not alarmed. By the way: the bush you see them sniffing was doused with "Bull Bomb" Cow Elk estrous pee a day or two before. I guess it works on Bull moose as well as Bull Elk!
