S&S Film Exercise 1 - Continuity

A young man, who has recently become deaf, searches for optimism in his life.

Shot on 16mm B & W reversal film on the Arri S and edited by hand on Steenbeck for NYU's Sight and Sound Film program under the supervision of Professor Laszlo Santha. This was the first of my exercises for the class, and as it was required to be shot silent, I figured that I would try to make the silence play an important role in the film's aesthetic.
