Coming from someone actually living in the culinary world, which most people here know next to nothing about, half of you complaining and calling her a hypocrite are idiots. She's a chef that works on food network. The stuff she shows you how to cook is bad for you yes but really, if you're old enough to cook this you should really know how good it is for you, especially with health and fats being all over the news lately. It's on you're own head to decide how often to eat this stuff, not hers.

The FDA is a private company that could care less about us! Get it! Food & Drug Association, this means if the food we eat makes us sick then the Drug companies make money when we have to buy the drugs that cure the sicknesses we got from the food we ate! It is a vicious cycle! Ever notice in the Grocery store, how the healthest and fresh foods are on the outer shelves and the junk is in the middle of the store? OMGAWD!

Why attack only Paula? the whole food channel is the root of all evil. It should be pulled off the air. Anyone can get diabetes and stroke just by watching it

Try eating the green tea (the baby leaves) picked in early spring grown in mountains, it may help a lot for Type II diabetes!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA , Paula played all you fat sheep like a fiddle.....dipped in butter. She don't give 2 shits about anyone's health. Look how she's treated her own body and some one actually believes she cares about her fans well being. Tony may be an asshole but he's right in every way and all you fatsos know it. She supports moderating unhealthy meals. How is that OK?

I don't have an issue with Paula Deen's career, but I have an issue with Paula implying that she can control her type 2 diabetes with cutting back on sweet tea and talking walks. I have been a type 2 diabetic for three years and totally had to change my life in order to control and maintain my health. Shame on Paula Deen. It is hard enough, emotional enough, and now she is trivializing diabetes. I would NEVER buy a diabetic product she endorses. I hope other diabetics feel the same way.

what a way to make money.
I don't care if she is fat, has diabetes, eats and promotes recipes that most likely caused her type II Diabetes. I do criticize her for partnering with a drug company and this wasn't even brought up in the discussion. You cannot regain your health by popping pills.

Paula Deen is not giving you diabetes. People need to take responsibility for their own health.
