U.P. 3985 Alexandria LA

This is footage of U.P. 3985 taken in 1995 around Alexandria, Louisiana as the train was headed back North. The chasing footage I took from my old 4 speed Ford 4x4. It was no easy task filming, shifting and staying on the road! I thought the Jackson Browne song that came on the radio fit just right with the 3985 pulling in to it's next stop. Enjoy.

I didn't record the date but it looks like the inspection sticker on my truck was 1995.

I thought so, because that looks like me firing it.I was a vollunteer crew member on the 3985 from Kansas City to Houston, Bay City & back to KC. Approx 2 &1/2 wks. Thanks, cbrhs819dc

Good to see you chased 3985 to Natchitoches. I first saw UP 844 (or 8444 then) in Natchitoches in 1985 on it's return from the Louisiana World's Fair.
