2009 Kawasaki KLX250S Motorcycle Review
Read the full motorcycle review at Motorcycle.com. http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/kawasaki/2009-kawasaki-klx250s-review-...

Throwing extremes from every direction our way - heat, dust, rocky trails, barren desert playas - the nimble, quick and affordable KLX250S soaks up the hits with a smile while leaving your wallet smiling in the process. From gritty urban settings to eroded earthen passages, the '09 KLX passes the test for commuters as well as weekend dirt warriors.

  • sounds more like a sales pitch than a review...

  • Hi from Australia,

I have an '06 KLX. Great bikes. What you can do is,

aftermarket pipe, re jet the carby, de-restrict the carby(unless the '09 has already been modded), remove the airbox lid, 13 tooth front sprocket.

These have made a HUGE difference. All the best. Enjoy!

  • kawa has a dyke for a pr manager ugh

  • a review is not a review if it is done by the people that made the bike...simple fix, just change the title

  • How is this bike for bigger guys? I am 6ft, 250lbs. Would this bike work for me.

  • @brotherblonde Ty ive done these mods you told me and they did do a big difference on my 06

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj That was my reaction too. Carbs are gone with the stone age baby

  • @ibanez35924 ohh like the YZF series??

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj the only off-road bike company that has a fuel injected bike that i know of is yamaha. of coarse alot of the larger duel sports are fuel injected but there more street orientated.

  • r those things not fuel injected???

  • @wallabies95 Gday mate....it was a while ago but I think it was about $750 for the mods. I have since sold the bike for $3900. I injured my back & couldn't take any jarring, so trail riding & jogging have stopped. :(
