  • Great clip!

  • Fields exhibited a fine piece of boxing there, he actually used his height reach advantages, notice he stayed on the outside and fired coming in with nice hand control, the upper cut was on point

  • i know kelvin .. hes my dads friend :P.. he showed me how to box a little :D

  • Does anyone have the Kelvin Davis vs Ezra Sellers IBF Cruiserweight title fight? Davis puts on a clinic on how to fight southpaws.

  • @ianandori:

Davis used to have an effective defense against tall fighters. He changed trainers and lost all of that. Without that crossed-arm defense and the bobbing and weaving, Davis became a very short heavyweight/cruiserweight with a very short reach that fought with his head up and became a target for taller, faster boxers.

  • Thats my brother... ha lol David KO'd

  • eric fields is something

  • Man I love outdoor boxing venues.

  • quite a bad loss here for Davis. Mind you. @ least it wasn't a prolonged and brutal beating. Here's hoping he has a nice long rest. He may come back strongly. You never know in the wide open cruiser division!

  • You gotta feel for Kelvin, he was coming back from a broken back after leaping over a bridge to avoid an out of control car whilst out doing roadwork. what a fight Davis had with the ding-a-ling man on FNF though

  • no.

    ola afolabi is talent.

  • according to a story on boxingtalk, Fields started boxing ironically after watching ESPN friday night fights. He says that he saw a guy that was about 22-0 and felt this guy didnt look so tough. " If he can go 22-0, so can I" Great story. This was 4 and 1/2 years ago.
