@GBeret83 I would really be surprise to see Frankel running in a quality solid 10 furlong race. Reminds me of the plastic excuse and pointing to the 2010 Breeders classic nonsense from the Rachel camp.

@duhru4real, Those are Henry Cecil's words, not mine. Cecil said the G1 Lockinge Stakes in May is where Frankel will begin the 2012 season, and depending on how he comes out of that race, he'll either run in the Queen Anne at 8f or the Prince of Wales at 10f during the Ascot meeting. Even if Frankel goes to the Queen Anne at Ascot, I'd be willing to bet your bottom dollar you'll see him in the G1 Coral-Eclipse at 10f at Sandown in July. But TJMO.

@GBeret83 Do not hold your breath on 10f for Frankel.....imo the odds of that ever happening is less than 10%

@duhru4real, The 2 racing at 7f seems to be the general consensus, at least among the racing public anyway, as being the fairest distance for the 2 to race. I'd love to see it myself. But I just don't think it will ever happen unless BC connection's are willing to race Frankel at mile? Sir Henry Cecil has already pretty much said as much that Frankel will begin his 2012 season at mile in the G1 Lockinge Stakes, and then they'll be looking to stretch him out to 10f. Likely the G1 POW at Ascot?
