lol @ background guy fail at 0:52, too bad we don't have more of him around, even the Olbermanns of the world got kicked off for being 'too real', its sad that real journalism is back to the muckraking days of the 1930s

@ViperRob42 Especally for people that want to be reporters like me.
-
I wish that Walter Cronkite had announced that Bin Laden was dead
-
a legend like Cronkite will never die, his spirit, energy & legendary persona will live on
-
That Dan Rather showed what a good speaker is made of...what a speech...and it appeared so effortless...and how much he praised Walther without beeing corny...greta stuff.
-
No hostile comments...I never saw him on TV, but I heard that he was a very trustworthy man

In 1962, The CBS Evening News ran a story provided by KHOU-TV in Houston. It was Dan Rather reporting on flooding there following a hurricane. Reportedly Cronkite told the CBS news brass: "We oughta hire that guy. He was ass-deep in moccasins and didn't flinch." They did.

may god, rest his sole

so is your post.
Integrity is only a word these days. Mr. Cronkite demonstrated that word in his lifetime. Fewer and fewer people even know what integrity is. The end of a nation.
