We have just completed work on a series of films about the history of Law Reporting in Scotland for SCLR , the publisher of Session Cases. The five films were developed as a aid for universities as they introduce first year students to the purpose and content of Law Reports, but will hopefully have interest for a wider audience. The films trace the history of Law Reporting and Session Cases in particular from their 16th century roots through to the up-to-date online reports of today. All of the films are built around the famous case;
Donoghue v Stevenson - the case about the snail in the ginger beer in a wee cafe in Paisley.

  • @ohare1916 Says you - you're the one with nothing beter to do than make that stupid comment. Trouble is you got the quote wrong, he says 'it's got human interest in a very stark way...', nothing about it being 'perfect'. I completely agree with the man in the video. I couldn't disagree more with you on the other hand

  • ''its got ginger beer, a cafe, its just perfect..'' what the fuck, get a life

  • Definitely mentioned Donoghue v Stevenson in my law exam today. :) I was curious to see whether someone had made a good You Tube video about this classic case. Good work.
