  • What altitude do you guys jump from? I remember when I went to jump school all of our jumps were from 1260'

  • @1Paintballer

We jump from 1500 feet, which is suppose to give you enough time to pull your reserve but I am not too sure about that

  • @350BansheeKing where do you get those classes??

  • BAMFs!!!!!!!!!!

  • could anyone answer any of my questions about smokejumpers if you can please respond or message me

  • @sloppyjoejumper I remember when they did a demonstration from the 300' tower using a Dummy the reserve had plenty of time to open and after that pretty much the entire company was relieved to know that the reserve chute would work and open in a short amount of time.

  • @jwatter440 I've found out more about the parachute. This is the SF-10A. In 2008 I made a couple of jumps with old ParaCommanders and a Thunderbow. This SF-10A parachute almost has the same performance. Jumping an SF-10A is now on my wish list. This seems a lot of fun to me.

  • this is my dream job. I just need laser eye surgery first. Looks soo exhilerating.

  • @MarsAssessor They use a variant of the MC-1C that SF uses. The SJ chute is more steerable due to landing in very small areas and is able to be used at higher altitudes than the standard military chutes.

  • This vid looks very nice guys. They use very steerable rounds. The harness, packtray and reserve container are looking like T-10/MC-1 types, but the parachute wich comes out doesn't even look like this. Wich parachute type is this and what kind of reserve they use?
